When I started Caltech, it wasn’t about chasing scale, it was about building something different. I saw how projects got bogged down by layers of management and excuses. I wanted to create a team that runs lean, stays accountable, has integrity and shows up ready to solve problems. I dislike when someone says that can't be done. Rather tell me how it can!
