Lance Bates was raised in the farming community of Elk Grove, where he worked alongside his father from a young age, gaining a strong work ethic and deep understanding of the value of hard work. After high school, Lance began his career with De Silva Gates and became a journeyman after signing with Local 3 Operators Union.
His career took him to work with some of the biggest names in the construction industry, including Peter Kiewit, Nordic Industries, and Cal-Neva, where he honed his skills in large-scale construction and project management.
Lance’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to join his father in land development, where he contributed to some of the family's most significant projects, gaining invaluable business and industry knowledge.
Today, Lance has founded over 5 companies with his family, continuing to innovate and push the boundaries of construction and development. His leadership at Caltech Environmental Construction Inc. reflects his dedication to quality, efficiency, and providing creative solutions for the challenges of today’s construction industry.
